The title sounds not so nice, but has a nice background. After participating in the Microsoft Innovation Award, my master thesis has been recognized by several newspapers and even TV shows. I have not expected such a response to a quite simple idea.

In addition to the media response I am preparing for my application interview at Amazon and I am finishing my master thesis (mainly correction work and algorithm tuning). If your are frequently visiting my blog, do not wonder if I am not posting so much in the upcoming weeks, it’s very work intense currently.

I am looking forward to June to might relax a bit – hope dies at last – and write some posts.

So stay tuned!

Award done…stress reduced. Today I received pictures and video of the Microsoft Innovation Award 2010 and I wanted to share them. If you want to read more about the award just follow this link (German): http://www.innovationaward.at

At the Innovation Award 2010 I did not succeed preliminary round but got an mentionable award for social benefit. It’s not the final round, but for the first time sending a project to the award not that bad. Maybe someone wants to use the project, when they see the video/presentation at the award ceremony.

Yesterday I was informed, that my master thesis (Emergency Medical Service Stress Analyzer) was nominated for the Innovation Award 2010 shortlist. Now I have the chance to get into the 5 finalists and to win some money with my project. I’ll provide some information on the project later because time is short these days. So stay tuned.

I have added a small project description page for “Crazy Pirates”, a game we – some colleagues and I – made at the HTL Perg for advertising purpose. Enjoy!
